Hey Everyone, I‘m Barbara and I have been trying to find the most comfortable, cute shoes for women for quite some time now…
I’ve created this site to help other women like me find shoes that make them feel good and look good too. It’s amazing, once I began experiencing foot pain, how many conversations I’ve had with women about this very subject. I couldn’t believe how many women deal with foot pain on a regular basis. So many of us wear those 6 inch heels, grin and bear it, only to pay for it again the next day. Well, I have decided to find a better way.
More about me …
About 3 years ago, I injured both of my feet. I was 26 at the time and I never had any foot problems before, not even minor pain. Nothing. Then one day, due to work related circumstances, everything changed. I couldn’t walk or stand without chronic and long lasting pain in both feet. The doctors weren’t sure what was wrong with me, but I’ve come to realize that it was a severe case of Plantar Fasciitis mixed with possible stress fractures and (metatarsal pain). The pain was bad enough and being limited to only certain daily activities was hard. But trying to find cute shoes on top of that was nearly impossible.
I wore 2 pairs of orthotic sneakers and boots for the first year and forgot about fashion for a while. After about a year and a half of heavy physical therapy, finding the right podiatrist, and lifestyle changes, I got better and decided to try shoe shopping again. But it was so overwhelming. I felt like I was starting my shoe wardrobe over from scratch with so many limitations added. After lots of research, trial and error, I have finally started to find my own way when it comes to buying shoes -not just shoes that put my mind and feet at ease, but shoes that I am actually excited about wearing!
On my site …
I will be sharing with you shoe hacks- basically things that I do to make certain footwear more comfortable.
I will be doing reviews on shoes that I buy and let you know what I think about them.
I’ll show you outfits you can wear with the shoes I review so you can see how you can incorporate them into your wardrobe.
I’ll give foot advice and share information I find that could be helpful to some of you.
I also would love to hear from YOU too if you have any questions or feedback for me. Feel free to leave both in the comments on my site.
*DISCLAIMER: What I’ve learned from talking with multiple podiatrists is that every foot is not the same. You may have a different issue than me, but I will do my best to give the most accurate advice I can about general foot pain.
